I would like to ask if there is support in the INDI library for the Atik EFW1 (not EFW2). I have just tested with my Atik EFW1 and the wheel cannot be found by the driver.

Can you clarify if there is support for this?

I have the same question/hope as it seems that this particular filter wheel is not supported. I can see the device under lsusb, but kstars/ekos does not recognize it as an Atik filter wheel (the error message is device not connected, check power).

At the same time, the windows software by ATIK for this old (but functional) filter wheel works and can control it for windows 10, 64 bit. ASCOM also can see the filter wheel and it works for example under Nebulosity for batch acquisitions (including moving a focuser by a certain different amount for each filter).

It would be nice if INDI would support the filter wheel... I hoped that the latest release would work, but unfortunately it does not. As it is now, my Stellarmate will remain unused in a drawer.

Atik responded back and said EFW1 is no longer supported.
