Major INDI Library release v1.9.0 bring significant internal changes championed by @pawel-soja to modernize core INDI Library drivers and clients. New drivers for DeepSkyDad Flat Panel & Pegasus devices plus further improvements to PCM8 drivers.
I live in southern germany and this is my backyard observatory located in my very small garden. It is surrounded by small houses and severe lightpollution. I have a small view from east to west, the north is covered from my house and the south from a neighbour. Clear nights are rare in germany, so I decided to place a EQ8 there so I can use nights beside weekends. The scope runs mostly unattended in the night. The mount and the tripod are out the year around covered with a grill cover. Scope and camera stay inside.
With the progress of INDI and CCDCiel I switched from Windows (ASCOM) to Linux (INDI) in 2018.

CA300 on EQ8 Mount
I managed it to have only one power cable (12V) and one USB-cable to the scope. The white box screwed to the mount distributes power.
The flatfield-box consists of led stripes and a pvc difusor. It is adjustable.
On top there is a 7-Port USB3.0 Hub. The small white box below contains the electronics of the motofocus and distributes power for the scopes diagonal heater and the ASI 183.

My remote observatory usually looks like this during the season
After two seasons with HEQ5 I recently upgraded the mount to EQ8.
All equiment on the scope is connected to the Rigrunner and Startech 7-port USB3 hub, so there are only two cables coming off. Too bad EQ8 doesn't have internal cable routing, but this hasn't been an issue. Normally there would be Atik 383L+ hanging there, but I changed it to ASI178MC for planetary/lunar imaging for the summer.
Running the show is an UDOO X86 Ultra SBC with Ubuntu 19.04 in the grey box. Recently I also bought the Aviosys IP-Power switch, used relay on the ScopeDome controller before, but it had some issues with very cold weather.
I have made some updates to my remote observatory, I swapped the two linear actuators for a single one.
The new one has twice the lifting force (from 75KG to 150KG), it is longer and the most important part is that it is way quieter, a difference of 8 db from a full opening ~ closing session. Now you need to pay attention to the lid actually opening as you can barely hear it.
I might add again a second one, to make it even quieter, to average out the load...

Odroid C4 / WO Redcat51 / CEM25p / ZWO183MM / QHY5L-II-M (OAG) / ZWO mini FW
Here is my setup. Sellarmate running RP 3+ is in the blue labeled box, AC power adpter is in little bigger box aside. Mount CEM 40, scopes Celestron Edge HD 8 with 0,7 reducer, Guider scope is no-name Chinese cheapo similar to ZWO scope 60mm/ 240 FL . Cameras are ASI 1600MMC and 120 MM, Starizona Microtouch focuser strapped with cable ties undrer the HD8, Dew straps on both cameras + shield. ZWO Mini EFW ,LRGB filters are from ZWO, narrowbands from Baader.
All that connected via Cat5 cable to router. Accessing via Win 7 PC using EKOS.
The current glitch I,m working on is the CEM 40 does not co-oporate with EKOS internal guider for some reason, using theStellarmate's PHD2 for now.
The dark nights just begun (Lat 59N), so few days more after the Moon is gone, Fire at will!
