The Eta Carinae Nebula is too large to fit in one go in the FOV of my SkyWatcher Esprit 80ED and ASI1600MM combination so I used the mosaic generator in the scheduler tab to generate a 2 x 2 mosaic with 15% overlap. Despite some technical problems (scheduled refocus not working, APP mosaic mode broken, PI mosaic creation cumbersome and errorprone) I managed to collect at least 60 x 120 sec per panel, create the mosaic and do some LocalHistrogramEqualization to bring out fine details in the nebula. I hope you like it.

This looks awesome! I have yet to try mosaics. It seems to properly ratchet up the difficulty when doing a mosaic. Lots more things can go wrong. But one day, I want to image something quite large as a mosaic. If only we could get some clear skies around here.
