Hello all,
I have installed the latest Ubuntu 20.04 on a Intel NUC mini PC, and can bind the Bluetooth adapter which is the Shoestring astronomy HC-06 module, with the command
sudo rfcomm bind hci0 (MAC address) and it works great in ekos, BUT as soon as I re boot it is lost and the rfcomm0 file has gone, so I have to bind every time on re boot, the adapter is paired  and trusted…but am stuck
Any ideas…. :)

Hi,
You can set the command in rc.local file in etc folder (with correct rights). if file does no exist, you should create it.
You need also check to that rc-local service exists (if no, you should create one too).

That's what i'm using and works great under ubuntu 20.04

That sounds promising thanks, but I would not know where to start, I have been at this all day and not got anywhere, it will bind and work, but as soon as I reboot I have to bind again, there is no rfcomm.conf file and it creates an rfcomm0 port file but goes after I re boot….
I need real help here….

Ok, I have managed to get the rc-local service running at boot up and create the rc.local file, now need to know what to put in them….
