github.com/indilib/indi/pull/49 could be related to the problem. It was working fine on my arch dev computer, but crashed the driver on my RPi 3.

Hi all,

Peter: Thanks for the server update. I have tested it, and the same problem occurs for the MTF. It works from AstroDSLR for a short period of time, then AD disconnects from the MTF. When I reconnect, the focus buttons in AD are grayed out. The MTF continues to be connected and work from INDI CP throughout the whole deal. I recorded a crash log, which I will email to you separately.

Robert: I can't figure out the form of the suggested command under OS X. If anyone else has a suggestion, I am happy to try it!

It looks like the driver was restarted (crashed?) by indiserver. Marco, any idea? Peter

P.S. This is not an issue, you apparently have access rights for the port...

Sorry. I have no idea yet. Would it be possible to reproduce the error with debuglog turned on?

I ran the code last night with debugging turned on. Peter has the log files, and suspects that it may be something about my network configuration that is causing the problem. As soon as we know more, we will let you know.
