Hi all,

I am able to connect my arduino uno to ekos/kstars and see there in the Arduino weatherstation device the temperature and humidity.
But the next step is to park my Skywatcher scope AZEQ6GT when a specific condition is reached. For example humidity is above 90%.

How do i do that? Can anybody pont me in the right direction or has any example codes?

regards Joshua

hi Joshua,

I don't have Arduino as weather station so I cannot really help on this specific topic.
But as an alternative solution, if your Arduino sends weather data as text file (via serial port or http) to your INDI server then a driver like INDI WeatherWatcher can read these data.
WW is then able to manage weather thresholds and trigger shutdown/park actions.

Did you try using the watch dog and the weather plugins? If you can make it 'unsafe' the watch dog will park your mount for you.

Hi Chris,

I have Watchdog and Arduino MeteoStation but i don't know how to let them 'talk' to eachother.
See:

www.indilib.org/forum/general/11578-weat...lds-in-watchdog.html

Is there no documentation of how Watchdog and others communicate with other devices.

Regards,

Joshua
