Somthing like:

wget --mirror <location of Norder7 files on the web>

Might need to remove some html files that get lumped in.

Totally agree with you Rafa, I've just mentioned that cause I was sure that I saw it written somewhere :-)

And I just found it, on the Stellarmate's FB page:

Did you know that DSS Offline HiPS is already included with #StellarMate? Levels 3 and 5 are included by default. To enable to go to HiPS settings and set the DSS Offline Source to /usr/share/kstars/HIPS and you're set!

From what I can see Norder7 is probably about 20GB in size, looks to be composed of around 200,000 JPG files each around 100K in size.

I downloaded the Norder1 - 7 for DSS2color, these are the relative folder sizes:
/usr/share/kstars/HIPS$ du -h --max-depth 0 *

I feel we're going to put a stress on their servers by downloading this much data. Is there a way we can share this? CDN or perhaps Torrent?

I will happily create torrents for Norder6.tar.xz and Norder7.tar.xz, but it would need other people to participate in the seeding - I don't mind giving 20Mbps of my upstream for 1 week, for seeding to happen, after one week I could continue to seed, but at say 5Mbps.Hopefully that would give enough time for the data to get out there?

Attached is a gz of the Norder6 torrent file, perhaps someone can check whether it can connect to my seed.

Bundled Norder1 - 4 together, these are probably not generally necessary, but for completeness. Also have added Norder5
