Building i4jbase

Hi,

Are there any instructions how to build i4jbase (or any other i4j package)? I tried to simply run ant today and it fails. The failure is pretty weird as it complains for missing JWS. Is i4jbase depending in JWS?

Cheers,

I downloaded netbeans, unchecked webstart in a few places in config and built the libraries with ant successfully. So it seems that the netbeans created config (the default one) includes too much stuff that is not needed.

I'm sorry for not having noticed your message until today. I'm glad you solved the issue. I will try to check the build config in order to minimize this problem in future releases.

Best regards.

Is there any chance this build could be converted to using Maven? It would be easier to import into other IDEs I would think.

If you're interested, I've taken the i4jbase, i4jdriver, i4jclient and i4jserver and created a maven project (indi4java) and sub-modules, plus a sub-module for the examples. The jars built are currently named differently, but I did manage to get the driver example working fine under kstars.

Anyway, if you want it, let me know and I'll bundle it up for you.
