I am thinking the Celestron 11GPS hand controller and firmware have been throuh many updates. In fact, I had to send old hand controller to Andre Paquette for a chip upgrade in order to get modern enough firmware installed. This might be the problem with the driver. Perhaps, comparing the hand controller and motor board firmware versions would shed some light on the problem?
