It is probably a problem about log output.

I just pushed a modification to allow sending output to a log file.

Please update to latest github version (git pull --ff-only) and modify the line from /etc/rc.local to :

exec su -l -c "( cd ~/Astro/mobindi && LOGDIR=/var/log/mobindi exec ./startup.sh 2>&1 )" linaro

It should work upon next reboot ! (however due to the git update, a build will occur, so it may take 2-3 minutes to fully come up)

Does it work if you start startup.sh from a terminal ?
Can you post the content of /var/log/mobindi/ ?

The weird thing is it never create mobindi in /var/log/. Also when I copy and paste the exec command into Terminal, it close the terminal after ENTER.

That's very strange !
Can you create /var/log/mobindi + chown it ? Then retry from terminal ?

What if you issue that from terminal ?
LOGDIR=/var/log/mobindi ./startup.sh

Especially does it create files in the log dir ?

And what is the output of : multilog --version

Ahhhhh........ with this LOGDIR=/var/log/mobindi exec /home/xxxx/mobindi/./startup.sh

Then only can see few files created in log folder and the service running.

Hello All !

A new version of Mobindi is out, with the following improvements:
  • Filterwheel control in camera and sequences
  • Support for landscape orientation
  • Support for larger screen (tablet/desktop)
  • UI fixes for Chrome Browser
  • Remember camera settings accros restarts
  • Auto focuser graph improvment
  • New script for build/startup (install.sh/startup.sh)
As usual, details are on github

Also integration with the NAFAbox project is on its way, so there will soon exist an ARM image ready to run with Mobindi !

The next version will now focus on push notifications, to get alerted when things go wrong !
