Hi to all,
hope someone can help....may just be a user failure....
I'm running Tom Carpenter's astroeq on an arduino. It shows up in /dev as /ttyACM0. This is linked to ttyS40.
I cannot find a way of using the eqmod config with this port.

Hi Terry,

You can set the serial port used to communicate with your astroeq board in the Ports/Port property in the 'Options' tab of the EQMod Mount driver.
Simply enter /dev/ttyS40 or /dev/ttyACM0 in the right textentry and hit the 'set' button, the left textentry should be altered accordingly. Then when you hit the connect button look at the message window and check that there are no serial connection problem.

Hi Jean-Luc,
thanks for that...worked straight away. I knew that it was a user failure. All I heed to do now is to get my QHY5L-iic working under EKOS, and windoze is past history.
thanks
