Hi Arnold,
I have a Skyris 132c that I’d like to use on Ekos. Did you find a solution to this?
Thanks, Richard.

Thanks for the response, I’m looking more into this and if I find a solution or get nearer to a solution, I will certainly pass on the info.

Hi Richard

Have you tried the DMK CCD drivers? This seems to suit my similar Skyris 326c camera

Thanks

Chris

Hi Dave,
In short yes, using my Skyris 132C.
I’ve not had my rig up since Xmas due to other commitments so I am struggling to remember which driver and what settings.
I will however aim this weekend to set it up temp to access my profile in Ekos and this should let me see what driver and which settings I used. If I can, I will post up snapshots too.
Hope this helps,
Thanks, Richard.

Hi Dave, I haven’t fired up Stellarmate but I opened Ekos to look at the profile I had set up. I’m using the 132C as an Aux1 with driver V4L2 CCD
this was from a suggestion of Jasem which worked for me.
When fired up and looking into the tabs, it is recognised as the Skyris 132C but you may have to manually set your pixel settings if the automation does not. I have attached the profile image if it works

That is most helpful - I'm toying with acquiring a Skyris 274.. which looks an interesting camera .. but unless it can be made to work on my Stellarmate .. It's just no good.. Thank you this is most helpful !.

You’re welcome Dave, let us know how you get on. I’m hoping to set my rig back up this weekend, get the latest Stellarmate OS loaded and the same with KStars/Ekos. Once running, I should have more info available with the live system which I will pass on.

Good luck, Richard

Update on set up, so in between the last reply and now, I had also acquired an ASI eaf which is set up & running but yet to be live tested.

As I’m using the IOptron CEM70g, my profile is now - see pic
Indi control panel now looks like - see pic

The good news is everything is connected and showing in the Indi control panel including the iPolar,
However as this uses the V4L2 driver, the Skyris 132c is not recognised
I believe the V4L2 driver will not duplicate its tab in the Indi control panel to show both cameras simultaneously
Currently, the V4L2, under image info shows the iPolar
I can, under the options tab, change the port to /dev/video4 (currently video0 for iPolar)
If I do this and disconnect the camera under the main control tab, then Connect, go back to image info tab, it shows as the Skyris 132c
Problem is, if I test exposure, the V4L2 driver tab shuts down and disappears from the control panel, not sure why

I have tried the DMK driver but this fails to work.

I am experimenting with different scenarios and will update accordingly but my feeling is to ditch the Skyris, buy another Zwo where I can select Zwo camera 2 which may then work
A good option if possible is to have a V4L2 CCD2 that could be used for a secondary camera on the same rig.

@Dave, regarding your Skyris 274/276, have you checked the port setting to make sure it’s valid?

Thanks, Richard.
