Beginners tutorial for remote imaging with the Raspberry Pi

I spent some time today writing up this tutorial in the hopes that it could help others. It's part one of a two part series covering running StellarMate OS on a Raspberry PI so that you can remote image from your back yard without having to brave the elements too much.

Tutorial here

Let me know if you see something factually incorrect, missing, or something that could be improved. I tried to be very thorough on walking through the steps so that anyone could follow along. But it does make for a long tutorial.

In part two I hope to cover setting up the Pi unit as an INDI server, so that you can run Kstars on a desktop computer where you might have more screen real estate and CPU power.

Great to hear! I’m using the 1600MM Pro, with both the EFW8 and OAG and the 174Mini Guide camera. I also have a ZWO ASI2600MC-Pro that I’m using a lot lately.
