Side-by-side with 2 Moonlite focusers....?

Hi!

I recently arranged for a side-by-side setup. And I have 2 DIY focus controllers, using the Moonlite driver. So I set it up with one foucser as Moonlite, and one Aux as Moonlite. But it seems to cause problems, interference. ANd I realized that I cannot capture with 2 cameras... there is only 1 capture module (I can switch but not operate simultaneously).

So: how can I make this work so I can use both focusers and cameras simultaeously? I use a StellarMate - should I have 2....?

I seem to remember someone else with a dual setup, and they used two StellarMates. One to control one telescope setup plus the mount, and the second to control the other telescope setup only. You will loose a frame on the second one during the meridian flip, and not 100% sure how dithering works with two. Maybe someone else can chime in who's actually done this. :)

If you just want to use two focuser sin the same profile, maybe create an alias for the other one?

Hi!

OK, so.... stupid question: how do I create an alias....?

And what about having 2 capture modules? Is there a way to do that?
