The software runs a web page on your Ekos machine.

To control with Android you just need to use your Android browser to visit the web page.

Hey Rick,

is this project still actual? The last update was last year, probably something has changed, but I didn't manage to run Ekos in offline mode. It tries to make some network requests on connect but fails. Is there some specific configuration, should we run some "server" on the same device?

Yes, I still run it with the latest stable version of KStars. The best way to run it is to use Docker.
docker pull rickbassham/ekos-web:latest
docker run -p 3000:3000 -it rickbassham/ekos-web:latest

This should be run on the same machine that KStars/Ekos is running.

My issue is that I can't start Ekos Live in offline mode on the latest KStars. I know it is not connected to the development of ekos-web, but probably you can give me some hints

You will need to have some server running locally. Either my ekos-web project, or I believe Stellarmate make come with an offline server. Without one of those, offline mode will not work.
