Astrometry index files

Astrometry index files was created by ady

Fresh install of mint and kstars. I have the astrometry directory but when I try to install the index files it says already installed but offline plate solving fails due to all the index’s missing. Is there a sudo command to help build the directory.

Did you specify the correct directory under Solver Tab > Options?
The installed index files should be marked with green check marks there, if the correct directory has been specified. If they are not marked, make sure the correct link to the folder containing the index files is loaded and uncommented in the configuration file.

You have to download the astrometry files to the directory that you have listed under your options tab.
