I am sure you have seen this thread, but I'd like to point it out anyway since there are different experiences with parking the mount using Ekos:

So the StarFi adapter, from what I'm reading, is just a fancy RS323>wifi box that you connect at the back of the hand controller . Just to eliminate the cable between your computer and the hand controller :S
I was under the impression that it would bypass it, good thing I do a lot of forum searching :P ... I'd rather have a cable thank you very much.

I have today ordered the USB cable to connect the hand controller, I have also reinstalled Ubuntu 18.x on my old i386 laptop.
As soon as the cable arrives, I shall be testing this mount indoors, especially the park position and meridian flip.

I do not think that my counterweight bar is 100% square to the top of the DEC motor box. I can clearly see it's offset by a small amount.

Not an actual picture of my mount, just for illustration purposes.

The green line is not at 90° to the red line, so is this normal?

I am really surprised that there is no mechanical switches build in this mount to avoid collisions.

My family cars were all built in the last millennium.
When I take a gadget apart and put it back together again, I usually end up with a lot of superfluous parts. As a result, the gadget usually works better than before.

And I once flew an airplane back home that I had to fix with duct tape because the fuselage had ripped and the cloth was fluttering in the wind. The tower at a stopover alerted me as I was about to land. I do admit, that made me a little nervous.

So, all told, that CEM25P is damn too perfect for me, crooked as the counterweight shaft may me!

I have been testing this home position a lot now, and it is extremely reliable. I'm still waiting for my USB cable to connect this mount to my laptop.
Hopefully the park position of Indi is as good as the home position of the hand controller.

Also looking at options to add limit switches to avoid crashing the mount.

I have been bench testing my CEM25p many times now, and I must say that it was the right purchase. I will be testing it under the night sky whenever my new telescope and camera turns up (that's if I can make my mind up... lol) and fine tune the backlash if any or anything else.
So far, it's been super reliable, in fact much more than my HEQ5 pro.
