THANK YOU!

Maybe should open a new one for this?
Same problem seems to exist on Ubuntu 20.10
Upgraded my RPI from raspberry to UBUNTU 20.10 Arm64. Atik camera does not connect. (Issue looks the same as on 20.04)

Can see the camera with DMESG

[ 456.026132] usb 1-1.1.6: New USB device found, idVendor=20e7, idProduct=df3d, bcdDevice=52.95
[ 456.026144] usb 1-1.1.6: New USB device strings: Mfr=0, Product=0, SerialNumber=0

Ekos can't find.

Just running indiserver gives this:
paul@indiberry:~$ indiserver -vvv indi_atik_ccd
2021-05-03T13:18:41: startup: indiserver -vvv indi_atik_ccd
2021-05-03T13:18:41: Driver indi_atik_ccd: pid=3105 rfd=3 wfd=6 efd=7

2021-05-03T13:18:41: Driver indi_atik_ccd: sending msg copy 1 nq 1:
<getProperties version='1.7'/>

and then it hangs forever.

My ASI178 connects but Omegon (toupcam isn't recognised either)

System is updated to latest indi stable.

I would naively think that you need the nighties for the latest fixes, but I don't really know.

You can check the status of the driver packages you use on Launchpad .  Look for a date in May (e.g., 202105....).  If the latest is still in April, it hasn't completed the rebuild.

It is, indeed, a PITA that launchpad is working so slowly.

Stable packages only built for 18.04 and 20.04 now. Maybe in a week I'll work on the distros since Launchpad still has issues in the build process.

FYI: I am running Ubuntu 20.10 (amd64) and tried building from latest source, but it cannot connect to my Pegasus units (PPBA and DMFC). Fails in HandShake (gets no response).

Sorry, noob question here:  I'm out in the field with a rig that cannot connect to my equipment per the difficulties in this thread.  I am running the nightly release from Monday morning, but what I need is the latest stable release according to Jasem's instructions above.  The problem I have is that my Ubuntu 20.04 MiniPC is on a local ethernet LAN with no Internet access.  I do have access to slow WiFi, but when I connect to that I cannot seem to connect to NoMachine (likely the port is blocked - outside of my control) and thus cannot remote in and install KStars.  I have a portable monitor, but forgot my keyboard/mouse at home 3 hours away.

Is there any way that I can download KStars-stable on a Mac/Windows machine, drop it on a USB flash drive and install from there?

I also have a Mac with me, so I was excited to see KStars 3.5.3 released (not sure if it includes this issue or has the fix for it, though) -- but the download link is broken on the Kstars page!

Thank you, Robert!  And I confirmed I can connect to at least one of my pieces.  I'll try the rest tonight.
