Hi, having a lot of troubles with Homebrew astrometry.net package we decided to make native port and wrap it together with a web service server into simple to use GUI, the same way, as we did with INDI Server for OS X.

Even if it is designed to support AstroImager 2.0, it can be used as a standalone application by anybody for free and as open-source. You can download Beta2 together with matching versions of all other AstroApps applications from here: AstroApps_Beta2.dmg .

To avoid the complexity, dependencies on 3rd party libraries and security issues, no python scripts are used, only FITS images are allowed and no plots are produced, but it can be still useful for many people.

Any feedback is welcome... Peter

Now that's getting interesting. We have a house full of company over the holiday here, so wont be playing with any astro stuff for a few days, but I'm going to get this loaded onto my wife's mac as soon as things settle down here.
