Can I upgrade to the Beta or do I have to start with a new image.
I did set the Release Type to Beta but when I ran the package updater it did not look like the beta.
I wasn't necessarily going to post here, but I have been running for a few days without crashing till last night. There was only one change I made for last nights imaging session, which was to enable "Fast Exposure".
I am not sure if it is related and hence the reason for not thinking about posting on this thread.
The actual problem I was experiencing with the new setting was with "Fast Exposure" enabled; Meridan Flip does work. I am looking for another post on Meridian Flip now and will explain more in that post. Maybe it has some form of relationship to the crash but I am not ready to investigate.
Jasem, do you know is a good idea to wait 64bit release of astroberry (if it comes sometime...) or it's better to start learning SM beta? I'm used to Astroberry, it works fine exept with fullframe ccd capture and it will probably be difficult to retrain to Stellarmate
Yesterday installed SM 1.7.0 64bit. It works perfect with QHY600 full frame with FITsViewer & Image preview - during all night made darks. There were no crashes. But when I change CCD to RisingCam IMX571 INDI does't see it - I use ToupTek driver as used in astroberry before. The same USB3 cable and same power 12V as connected QHY600.
