Jasem, I got it working!

I downloaded the CP210x Macintosh OS VCP Driver v6  (serial driver) and once installed, the Esatto connected in exactly the way it connects with Linux.
The driver is here:

CP210x VCP Mac OSX Driver

I now have all my devices connected via Mac OSX and functioning.

CEM120 EC2
ASI 1600Mm pro
ZWO Filter wheel
SX Loderstar X2
Esatto Focuser
Nexdome
AAG Cloudwatcxher NG

Hi Peter, I have exactly the same problem with the Esatto and MacOS as you had. So was happy to see your solution. I have installed the CP210x driver (6.0.2), but unfortunately still experience the same error message. So I've probably done something wrong with the installation. Any tips you might have to check proper installation, or how to use this new driver?
Running on MacMini M1 under Monterey
Tried running the driver both in Rosetta mode and in Universal mode: no difference
The USB ports I get when connecting the Esatto are: Usbserial-2130 and SLAB_USBtoUART. Which one to choose? Neither seems to work, even after reboot of the system.

Here's the serial driver that works on my 2012 Mac mini running macOS Monterey.
