10micron park not at pole in kstars

10micron park not at pole in kstars was created by Thomas Mason

I have a new 10micron gm1000hps and when I park it in default position it shows in kstars as being slightly offset from the pole. I am wondering if this is a jnow vs j2000 issue. So far have have made no changes to the settings in either ekos or the mount.



I have an MGBoxV2 and am setup for mount updates kstars in time and location. The mount has a 20 point model built using MountWizzard4.

Trying to get this answer myself for the last 2 years. I have a feeling for my set-up as alignment of the telescope to the mount. I think it safe to say that the position is of the telescope than the mount.
