Hi Gene,

I can confirm, after upgrading to INDI 1.9.7. with all its drivers, including the fixed SkySafari driver, the "bug" is gone :-). The mount is slewing to the correct DEC coordinate.

Hi Willi,

Good to hear! I personally am not one to always go for the latest if the build I am on works for the way I use it, but if something is wrong then need to either selectively update the offending component or go for the home run and bring everything in. I currently run a mid 2021 build on the main scope but also have two other systems, one on near the latest and another that needed a higher pi kernel to support the 7inch DSI interface display attached to it. With the price of low capacity SSD drives now under 20 dollars there is no reason to not keep play ones around for testing as needed.

True! Usually, I do not go for the latest version either. Since I have a full disk image of a working version, I took the risk of updating straight from 1.8.9. to 1.9.7. So far everything works well and smoothly. :-)
