Hi,

currently you can use the autoguiding by connecting a guiding camera with ST4 cable to the Star Adventurer and running PHD2. You must select "On Camera" in PHD2 for mount and then this program will do pulse guiding the Star Adventurer mount. You can use Drift Alignment in this setup with PHD2 if you can't see the Polaris from your observation site. That is what I do. In my case, I put a Skywatcher Merlin mount on the top of Adventurer for slewing to avoid manual fiddling with a ballhead.

The specification of Ekos which necessarily needs to set the CCD and the mount causes confusion.

In Star Adventurer, mount connection is not mandatory as it is a guide for RA from ST 4 terminal.

With Ekos driver settings
Mount = mount simulator
CCD = Shooting CCD driver
Guider = guide CCD driver

Please set the guide control of the guide CCD driver from the INDI control panel.

At ECOS Guide Tab
Guider = guide CCD driver
Via = guide CCD driver

I think whether that is good or not.
(The mount driver is set as a dummy and is not used.)

Yes those should be the correct settings.
