In that case, I would go for an IOptron CEM60.. a good step up from what you have, extra payload, magnetically loaded worm gear and belt driven, built in USB and power Outlets, I have one on back order to replace M6 belt modded EQ6 Pro, but I have also just bought an EQ8 as I might have to wait a good few months for the CEM60, and I could not resist at £1200 and only 2 years old one owner and no backlash issues....so if this works out ok, I may cancel the CEM60 order, BUT that does not mean I don’t highly recommend them.. :)

Sticky point ehh??? Now that's a problem!
I had that two times. One of them was a mechanichal issue and difficult to surpass.
Not that you could have the same issue, and I wish it is not, but you really need to investigate that one.

I must say I do like the design of the CEM's
As for the sticky part, it's ever so "light", I can fee it. I might be able to re-tune the grub screws here and there...

I've been reading about this new CEM40, looks so nice and some really good stats and features. It's tempting, knowing that my HEQ5 pro was bought second hand and I do believe it's a first generation.... it's quite old, nothing wrong as such but maybe if I change for something excellent I would not have in theory a lot less headache.

I would really like to have a 10micron GM1000 HPS www.10micron.eu/en/product/gm1000-hps/ but the price a brand new one is way out of my league and I don't think they come up that often on the second hand market...

Yikes! That makes me think Paramount! Getting back to reality I just remembered my friend did a CEM40 review. I like the built in cable management too.

Another option to consider would be a Takahashi EM200. They run like clockwork and are very simple to setup and operate. Their reliability is based on their simplicity.
Complexity often adds issues...

Another option would be ... a SkyWatcher HEQ-5! A new one I mean. Install the belt mod and you’re good to go. Just a thought.

And now that the thread is calm, a little off-topic I guess, but as promised, @wvreeven here are the screenshots.
This is with Vixen GPD2 with a Goto kit and at guiding 1.0x. In my opinion, way better than my old HEQ5.
With this mount I can do 1200s exposures. On the HEQ5 never got it to pass the 900s mark. Even with better motors.
Even so, the HEQ5 is an great mount.
