I'm using stellarmate OS on a 3B+. Connecting with VNC and running kstars . Just testing things outmith the mount and CCD simulator. When attempting the polar alignment after the image solves and starts slewing the mount it fails and aborts. The mount moves slow while slewing before it aborts. I looked at the log and it looks like the distance the mount has left to move to reach the 30 degrees actually goes up instead of down. so the mount is moving in the opposite direction then it should be. I also saw an error that it failed to get RA and DEC from the mount. I've tried changing settings that it thought might help, but nothing helped. I got the alignment to complete by manual slewing. Not sure if I moved it 30 degrees or not each time.

I thought I saw someone post about a similar problem, but can't find it now. I'm going to attach the log files that I have. If anyone knows how to solve the issue it would be great.
