Hi all,

I have a joystick connected and went thru the procedure described in the tutorial.
Everything goes well, i can see motion on the all the motion tabs. i have button 5 defined as park and button 6 as unpark and even that is done. I can see that in de status of the mount.
But what is not working is that how long i move the joystick there is totally no movement of the mount.

Beats me. Can anybody please help?

install jstest-gtk and calibrate the joystick.
Note, to sucessfully save the calibration open the terminal and enter this command

I have done that and moving the joystick results in moving in that application. But still no movement of my scope.

'Joystick' has to be running as an Auxiliary INDI-Driver. And furthermore it may have to be enabled as an option in your mount driver as well. That is certainly the case with the EQMod driver.
