Is there a way to tell INDI/KStars/EKOS to move to the counter-weight down position when parking instead of it's default, which seems to be Dec 0, HA 12? Or to the "Home" position, which I've also set as CWD.
When using EKOS to do a polar alignment, clicking on "Done" parks the mount. The "correct" position for me would be the default switch position which is counter-weight down. From there I could repeat to see how close I got, but right now, there's an extra step to put the mount in the right orientation to restart the polar alignment. Even at the end of a session, CWD would be better for me since I'm completely portable and would prefer to tear down from that orientation.
There's a set park position option in the mount driver. Move the mount to the position yu want to park in, then select set park to current position. I'm not in front of a system so can't give chapter and verse.
Once done SAVE the config and your new park position should be remembered.
