No slew zone calculation

Hello,

Is there is a way to calculate the slew limits to avoid the scope hitting the tripod? I searched the forums, but I can't get a straight answer on how to get the proper Alt range and Ha limits?

I moved mine manually and then looked to see where it was at in kstars. That became my setting plus 1 degree for safety.

So you used a mount control screen? Also, can you please advise the numbers you got, and did you enabled limitation by HA as well?

Here is a screen cap. 77 leaves a lot of space around the zenith, but I have a large filter wheel and an OAG hanging off the end of the scope on a 12" concrete pier. In all combinations, this still gives me about 1 degree of clearance, so that is where I have left it now for quite some time.
The actual clearance I need would be this much on one side, and less on the other, but it was easier to do it this way, and then just work around the "hole in the sky". I don't worry much about the OAG bashing into concrete.
