Takahashi Driver when polar aligning moves in the wrong direction.

Hi

Firstly I want to say I just discovered K stars and EKOS after a few years off from Astro photography and it is simply amazing !

I have and Takahashi EM200 Temma 2 mount and am in the southern hemisphere,  When doing a polar alignment the mount slews in the wrong way, similarly to this issue on the forum
I have simulated  being in the north and  southern hemispheres and choosing west and east and the mount always slews in the wrong direction, so the issues does not seem to be which hemesphere the mount is in.

I also toggled the mount reverse options in the "mount control" dialog but this has no effect.

Below are the lo files for the simulations and an extract form the error.

And help would be appreciated.

Can you please perform a simple experiment? Open Mount Control Panel and then press LEFT (West), does the RA value increases or decreases?

Hi Jasem

Thanks for the response.

I did the experiment after syncing with a star east of the meridian and all the reverse checks off  in the mount control.

The RA value increase with a West button press.

I took a look at the debug logs the code, and the Temma protocol. It seems  the west button is sending this M command CMD <M 01000101> "

Which translates to the this Tak serial command,  ie a West button is sending a RA Left.

Full debug logs and before and after screenshots are attached below.

Hi Jasem

I create a pull request  and update the bug thred on the repo to change the sew direction  of the temma driver.

Making the change locally fixed my issue.
