StellarMate power supply cable, 12vdc to 5vdc USB-C?

I see from this post that the StellarMate package now includes a cable for this, but I have an older one that didn't include that cable. Anyone know of a 3rd party cable for this? I've tried supplying directly from a USB 3 hub that is supplied by 12V, but that won't do it.

And the 3A is enough? I saw those and wasn't sure. I actually had some problems with the power supply that came with the SM but maybe it's not actually working correctly.

I don't have SM, just a "regular" Pi4 running Kstars under ubuntu. 3A is fine for me, as my other equipment is powered from a separate 12v source.

Does SM need more than 3A?

I have and RPI4 running Stellarmate. There is a powered usb hub and the only other usb plug powers a wifi antenna. I am able to monitor current draw from my  12v battery power supply and the RPI4 seems to pull about 0.3 amp. This rises about 150 milliamps when a frame is downloaded. Presumably the 5v supply is pulling double these numbers.
