I've got the same problem.
I's not a camera hardware problem but either indi driver or software (ekos?) problem.

Ok, I reported this SDK bug in the INDI driver to ZWO support.

Don't know what to do with this solution. I'm a total noob when it comes to linux.
I found this libASICamera2.so file but how do i create a symbolic link without using the terminal?

Hi Michael,

I did use the terminal. Had to google all the commands - like how to make a symbolic link (ln -s) - but in the end it was not difficult.
First I copied the libASICamers2.1.15.0617 from SM 1.54 on a usb stick.
Then started with SM 1.60
In terminal I typed: sudo -i
That made copying all the files possible.
I renamed the libASICamera2.so.1.1.20 file and the symbolic links by placing "bck_" in front of the file names with the mv command so I wouldn't loose them.
Then I copied the old libASICamera2.so.1.15.0617 from the usb stick. Can also be done with the mv command.
Then made 2 new symbolic links. You have to google exactly how to do this with the ln -s command but its easy ;-)
Then all worked perfectly!

Mind you, I am in NO way a linux expert. On the contrary ;-)
So there will be better ways no doubt......

Hope this helps, cheers,
Arnold

Thx Arnold! You're Dutch like me?

Unfortunately this solution didn't work for me. I renamed the existing v1.6.1 libASICamera files like you said with prefix (bck_.
Copied the (in my case v1.5.5 driver) to the right location in /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf
Created 2 new symbolic links from that driver.

My asi294pro just works with new or old driver no problem.
My asi120mm mini still won't go beyond 3sec exposure.
Strange is that the 120mini did work with stellarmate 1.5.5 driver version.

Hi Michael,

Yes I'm Dutch ;-)
Pity it doesn't work for you. No idea what else to do I'm afraid...........
Why do you want more than 3 sec? For plate solving and guiding this is enough, no?

Yes it's enough for that thank god, lol
I just don't like the unpredictability of it. I have to deal with enough bugs as is.
It sometimes even doesn't work with 2 and 2.5sec.
I want to make a master dark for plate solving, guiding and focussing till 5 sec.
