Stellarmate OS on Raspberry Pi 4B forgets WiFi country

Hi,

I recently put Stellarmate OS on a Raspberry Pi 4B 8GB. Every time it boots I have to reset the WiFi country. When it boots it can only see 2.4GHz WiFi, so can't connect to my 5GHz WiFi. It times out, and puts up the hotspot, effectively locking me out ot it. I have to hook a monitor and keyboard/mouse to it to get it on the 5GHz network. Not great for unattended use or automation.

Any ideas?

Thanks

On Raspian / Raspberry PI OS: You need to set the WiFi country in raspi-config correctly. If this does not stick, check /etc/default/crda and add your country in that file.

Grimaldi,

I've been searching for two days and that's the first I've heard of that file. I'll give it a shot this evening.

Thanks!
