Absolutely. Usually I sit by the computer all night long during a session but if you don't, this issue is a show stopper.

The first abnomaly IMO occurs where deviation goes from 3W in one line to 576W in the next line. From this point in time the amplitude remains elevated and never gets back to normal AFAICS.

and a short while later another "push" can be seen where the amplitude enters the next level and deviation goes from 310E to 3203E from one line to the next. Like the neighbour's cat had jumped off the roof and landed on your scope.

The correspoinding part (for the latter) in the Ekos logfile is - I believe - this:

At 19:50:39 Diff RA is reported as 4.03672 and 5 seconds later it's 94.8418? I can't see why. But that might be due to my limited understanding of it. Sorry, I'm afraid one of the big guns has to have a look at it. ;-)

Thanks!

Hopefully, one of the "big guns" will chime in.

I appreciate your efforts!

Alfred,

I've sent Ron instructions on how to send me more informative logs, and am happy to work with you as well--t's just sometimes it's just easier doing one thing at a time.
I'll email you the same instructions I emailed him.

If can edit and compile, I also have a suspicion about what to try--try changing the 4.0 on this line to a large number, like 40000.0
