Ho yes, sorry but I've tried that.

But I don't see my EAF

So I suppose my EAF is dead... I'll buy the new EAF (5v instead 12v) and hope.

Thank you for your time !

Have you tried to only connect the EAF to the Pi? Or connect via an additional, powered USB hub? Could be the power supply of the Pi isn't strong enough to (reliably) power Pi plus several USB units. In that case, switching to the 5V version would/could make things worse....

Yes, I've tried to connect only my EAF like Jasem said and with a separate alimentation.
Sometimes, I see my EAF but if I close Ekos and restart, I lose my EAF...
I think a lot of people use the new EAF with a RPI (I hope).
Sadly, I haven't another solution.

I use SM since two years and I'm very happy. I hope to solve my problem quickly.

:(
Was just an idea. But it's not a general issue. At least my 12V EAF has no issues on a Pi4. But the Pi is powered by a high-current power supply.

Hmmm, ok, maybe change the power of my RPI ?
Why not, I'll try that.
This morning, I try to start Ekos, plug and unplug my EAF on my RPI and... Ekos see the EAF.
If I close and restart Ekos, I lose my EAF. I need to go to my observatory to unplug/plug again.
So, I think it's a problem only with the EAF.
But I'll try to change my power of my RPI.
Thank you.

At least that behavior I do see if I disconnect a ZWO device while the driver (indi_asi_*) is still running. Can you check that after closing EKOS/KStars, the driver is not running? (
ps aux | grep indi
)

If you can understand...
I've that when I close all :
"stellar+ 2109 0.0 0.0 3184 1728 pts/0 S+ 12:14 0:00 grep --color=auto indi"

If I restart; I've that :
stellar+ 2184 2.0 0.0 5172 3080 ? S 12:18 0:00 /usr/bin/indiserver -v -p 7624 -m 1024 -r 0 -f /tmp/indififo639172e3
stellar+ 2185 1.3 0.2 33212 9756 ? S 12:18 0:00 indi_eqmod_telescope
stellar+ 2186 7.2 1.2 391112 46472 ? Sl 12:18 0:00 indi_asi_ccd
stellar+ 2187 1.0 0.2 44496 9428 ? Sl 12:18 0:00 indi_asi_focuser
stellar+ 2189 0.6 0.2 39860 9636 ? S 12:18 0:00 indi_openweathermap_weather
stellar+ 2213 0.0 0.0 3184 1728 pts/0 S+ 12:18 0:00 grep --color=auto indi

Without a message of error but I don't see my EAF :

But, if I unplug/plug again my EAF and restart Ekos (via Kstar), all is fine :

stellar+ 2237 0.3 0.0 5172 3300 ? S 12:24 0:00 /usr/bin/indiserver -v -p 7624 -m 1024 -r 0 -f /tmp/indififobf5c1f89
stellar+ 2238 0.2 0.2 33212 9428 ? S 12:24 0:00 indi_eqmod_telescope
stellar+ 2239 0.9 1.2 391124 46576 ? Sl 12:24 0:00 indi_asi_ccd
stellar+ 2240 0.2 0.2 53924 10540 ? Sl 12:24 0:00 indi_asi_focuser
stellar+ 2242 0.0 0.2 39860 9548 ? S 12:24 0:00 indi_openweathermap_weather
stellar+ 2274 0.0 0.0 3184 1724 pts/0 S+ 12:25 0:00 grep --color=auto indi

So yes, it does properly terminate the indiserver and drivers, and restarts them. Thus, it isn't the issue that I do observe sometimes.

If I need to unplug/plug to have my EAF, it's better than to buy a new...

A last question.
Is-it possible to unplug/plug the device with a script or a line command (like a reset) ?
