You can open a ticket over at stellarmate.com to request support for this.

Hi, Did the new SDcard new install fix your issue ? im still having issues , for example, please try a Plate solve and then a PAA, i can do one but not both.

I was able to take a string of images but then doing something else seems to then cause an issue.

No, the fresh sdcard with 1.7.5, shows the same issue. It seems to concerne the main camera and not the camera guide.
Connections OK, but next QHY driver crashes and also the system.

I'll try to update the SDK as I'm not sure what the issue is. I will also inform QHY to look at this thread and perhaps they can help.

1.7.5 was making driver/INDI troubles with my setup too, i have finally resolved the issue and i am now operating without an issue.
In my case, it was an ASI294MC (USB3) and ASI120MM mini (USB2), each connected via their own USB port.

Making it work again involved two changes:
1. Connected the ASI120MM mini to the USB2 hub on the backside of the ASI294MC, which i connected to USB2, but later on i found out that USB3 also worked in this setting.

2. I had to change the EKOS settings from "zwo-camera2" driver on first camera, "zwo camera1" on second camera dropdown fields to only "ZWO-CCD" on the first camera dropdown field, leaving the second camera field empty.

So i suggest a change in the driver management or drivers in the recent indilib coming with 1.7.5 caused problems with usual settings, maybe exclusive to Stellarmate-OS driven devices.
I would try to adjust your settings, if possible - because i don't know anything about driver choices regarding QHY cameras - to use different ways to connect your cameras. If you're lucky it will work and you are able to do astrophotography again, until driver issues are resolved with a future update of kstars/indilib.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

As we stand for a right solution, it would be useful to be able to install V3.6.2 of Kstars.
In a general way, it should be possible to install a former version of Kstars.

Mr Mister, your issue concerns ASI camera not QHY. Open a new ticket please.

No offense, but my issue was concerning EKOS/INDI driver management. I got it fixed and presented my workaround.
As it was fixed, there's no need to open a ticket. I was working with ticket systems in the past, and the least you want as a developer is to waste time on uneeded error reproduction, communication on bogus tickets. You're welcome.
Astronomers are usually supportive and constructive people, and so am i.

Regarding kstars, afair it's always possible to check out a source tree of past releases of linux software and compile it yourself, preferably in a separate chroot environment, not to cause troubles with compatibility links pointing to libraries incompatible with the source.
Did this a lot of times in the past, and if you didn't develop software all along from the early times (MS-DOS), there is too much information to master for a beginner, even advanced user, for reccommending to go this way.
No piece of cake, in other words.

Maybe you know a versatile developer that remotely sets up the chroot and libs to compile a working, parallel version of kstars.
I still would not reccomend it, and that's why i keep a full dd image of my file systems of older Stellarmate releases, as soon as it's configured and approved to work.
This is what i can reccommend well.

Thanks Mr Mister. So, I try to compile a V3.6.2 on my second laptop. I install Kubuntu.
First, in the list of packages to install, KF5DocTools is not avalaible. So I delete it from the list.
Then I launch the git clone, but unsuccessfully:

robert@robert-PORTEGE:~/Projects$ git clone https:/invent.kde.org/education/kstars.git
Cloning into 'kstars'...
ssh: Could not resolve hostname https: Temporary failure in name resolution
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.
robert@robert-PORTEGE:~/Projects$

Could you explain this issue please ?

Yep, there's obviously a missing slash in the Git URL (aka. Typo)
