KeyChain tells me that the password is stellar@mate. That's what I expected it to be.
VNC Connect rejects me when I use that password.
Maybe I'm using the wrong login id. I'm just using my last name which is what the email I got when I created the account said my id is.
So, I'm just totally lost.

I tried that address. Safari reports "Can't open the page".

I click OK and it gets refused.

When I enter the IP address like you showed in Safari or Google Chrome I get "Can't Open Page".

Did you try the original login ID of stellarmate and passwd smate?

Yes. I did try that. Also failed.

Well, at some point, the pain of trying to recover the current config is going to outweigh the pain of reburning the SD card with the original image. This brings up a prior point that Jo (El Corazon) makes from different posts for having a backup of your SD card, just for cases like this. Having one will make sure you won't have to go too far backward. When you finally do get your config back, by whatever means, don't forget to capture a backup so you can recover more easily should this happen again in the future. From his posts, it sounds like it's going to happen every once in a while, especially starting out. Best of luck meanwhile...... I hope you break through soon.

Is there a quick tutorial somewhere on how to "reburn" the SD card with the original image? I'm ready to do it. Gotta learn how.

Do you have the balenaEtcher application and the original image file on your Mac?

No. I have neither of those. The StellarMate came with the software pre-installed so I never did anything but plug it into AC power and then connect to kstars/ekos/indi via the wifi HotSpot.
