StellarMate Focus failing - Device limits reached, resetting focus

Well, the latest StellarMate is giving me focus trouble. Worked fine in 3.5.0 Kstars, and in 3.5.2, I get the following error every single time it reaches a solution for focus, then it aborts saying it hit a device limit, which isn't true.

It's doing this on the Mac 3.5.2 also. Here's a log of the focuser.

Max travel 1000?
Change it in INDI control panel focuser tab to 50000 or 100000
Don't forget to save it there

Thanks for the input. My Max travel in the Indi control panel is 100,000,

I set the perimeter in the focus settings to 1000 because I interpreted that as the maximum amount of travel within a focus session, and don't want to exceed that because it often will get caught detecting noise for stars if it gets too far out of focus. Maybe I'm mis-interpreting this setting?

But I don't believe the focuser moved more than 1000 during the focus run, in fact it did a full sweep from out of focus, to in focus, to out of focus again on the other side, then picked the center point as the final solution. Then it errors out once it gets the final solution every time.

Andrew,

Did you find a solution yet? I continue to have similar issues occasionally and had to stop using.

Try changing your tolerance to 4 or 5%.
