Hello,
Do you have an idea (script ?) to receive an email when the mount is park (end of job) or if a job has a problem or etc ?
I often check if all is right during a session, but it could be interesting to receive a notification instead of.

Just a rough idea, you could write a script to query the indiserver with indi_getprop, put that into a cronjob.

Yes, why not.
In fact, I would like to use the launch script in the scheduler.

Hi,

Maybe you can use a sms utility to send a message from your observatory : smstools3.kekekasvi.com
I use it as a alarm if the temperature in the server hall gets too high or there is a power failure, I can also send a sms to a server and ask it so send back some status information to me.
Of course you need a USBstick GSM modem and a sim card but it can be worth it.

Hello,
Very interesting ! I'll try that this weekend because I've had a GSM modem.
Thank you for this tip.
