ZWO 7 position filter issue

I recently updated from a 5 slot ZWO filter wheel to the 7 slot filter wheel.

Unfortunately, I am unable to assign a label for filters #6 and #7, as there are no edit fields displayed to enter them.  It properly detects the FW as a 7 position FW and I am able to select the unnamed filters.

Additionally, these filter positions cannot be changed in the capture tab.  It displays the 7 filter position, you can enter the labels for #6 and 7 positions, but they will not save.

You can either edit the EAF XML file in the .indi directory in your home folder and add the two missing slots OR delete that file and let Ekos detect it again.

Thanks Wouter. I will try deleting the file. I did try removing the filter wheel from the profile, shutdown INDI and restart KStars, hoping it was something related to initial detection.

I cannot find that file anywhere inside the Home folder.

I can find an indi directory at path usr/share/indi with the other xml files but no file with EAF in the name.

What am I missing?

The directory is in the home folder and called .indi and note the trailing dot in the name. It is a hidden directory. Open a terminal and type

cd .indi

And then

ls -al

It will show the files there.
