There doesn't seem to be a way to manually generate WCS information from within the FITS viewer. So I would like to see a new function added to the FITS viewer to generate WCS information when none is present for use with the center telescope, show gridlines and object features.

I've never been clear on what is required to have WCS information available in the FITS viewer. Enabling auto WCS in the options doesn't seem to do anything, at least not when imaging with a DSLR in Native format. I would like to reliably use the Center Telescope feature, so if anyone can comment on best practices, that would be great.
