Primalucelab Eagle 3 & 4 support

Good evening,

I'm sorry if it's already asked, but could it be be possible to add the Primalucelab Eagle3 computer to EKOS ?
Since a recent update it's possible to control the Eagle3 by third party apps, so it should be nice to switch on/off the power ports and USB.

Thanks !

Replied by Fitchie on topic Primalucelab Eagle3 support

Since there is no feedback on this post for months, the user base is probably too small to put energy into this.

But since the Eagle 3 & 4 is actually an Intel based NUC, it can easily be equipped with a Linux OS. So it should be possible to native run Kstars / Ekos / Indi on Eagle 3 & 4 under Linux. Compare it to the Stellarmate port on PI.

But then there must be the possibility to control the power & USB ports on the Eagle, either from a Linux application or even better from EKOS.

In Windows it looks as follows:

Only way is if someone writes an INDI driver to control them like what we did with StellarMate Pro

Sounds great!

I suppose we have to get cooperation from Primalucelab to know how to control the power ports because there is a custom board in it. Or can that be sorted out by trial and error?

Custom board is connected to NUC via serial/RS232.
