After winter break I set out to take some images again.

With 1.4.1+r3022~201703282146~ and 1.3+r3026~201704011207~ubuntu16.04.1 my MMC1600 freezes after some exposures, about 5-20 with 16bit RAW, a bit more with 8bit RAW

I downgraded to last years version 1.3.1+r2763~201612162223~ubuntu16.04.1 and it seems to work fine.

Are there known issues? The ASI binary blob maybe?

I'll stay on the older version for now, but I'd be happy to help debug this.
