This is new for me.  I have had no trouble running automated flips before, but I really haven't needed to in about 5 months.  So last night I was imaging and had NO trouble calibrating the internal guiding.  In fact, I have NEVER had trouble with guider calibration.  It just always worked.

But last night I was imaging - and guiding - and all was great.  Until the meridian flip.  After that, EKOS slewed back to the target, solved it, and then started the calibration run in the guider.  This usually goes without any trouble.  But last night it failed when the DEC was reversing.  The RA was fine.   But once it started to reverse in DEC, it failed and said it lost the guide star.  But the FOV looked fine to me.  I tried five more times to manually calibrate and it failed every time.  I increased he guided six, and adjusted the pulse time.  No change.

Then I went back and re-aligned the scope with a new plate solve.  After that - the guider calibration worked again!

Has anyone sen this happen before?
