I also note that logging verbose + INDI + CCD to file didn't affect the stream rate for me.

Thanks for such a prompt reply.
Yes, the capture exposure time affects the video frame rate, not upon set of new exposure time, but following a capture using the new exposure time.
In the window "DMK CCD Live Video -KStars" video exposure time of 0.1 = 10 Hz frame rate is always shown regardless of capture exposure time, and 0.1 also shown as video expose duration in INDI control panel.
Your workaround results in the following behaviour (see log attached),;
capture exposure 0.1 -> video fps 7.5
capture exposure 0.05 -> video fps 12.2
capture exposure 0.03 -> video fps 30
also found, not logged;
capture exposure 0.2 -> video fps 4.3
capture exposure 0.15 -> video fps 5.5

Sorry if original post was posted several times.

Loving kStars and INDI, even better if I can make it work!
DMK 21 ccd will stream at 30 fps consistently until I capture an image in EKOS camera tab.
Then can only get 1 fps stream or worse thereafter. Am I doing something wrong?
Log attached.
