After doing some research (Google) the answer was right under my nose (here on Indilib). I had to manually install the driver as I found on one of the posts. It's working now! wink.png

When creating a profile in Ekos I select under the Others options my iNova camera as a guide cam. But when I try to connect to it I get a dialog box indicating that it cannot find the iNova indi driver installed in my system. I have the latest indi drivers installed. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Are the iNova indi drivers included with the indi package? I've tried connecting my iNova PLB-MX2 and I get the following dialog box error:

Driver indi_novaplx_ccd was not found on the system. Please make sure the package that provides the ' indi_novaplx_ccd' binary is installed.

Thanks for the info. I just bought an Argon M.2 case and a 240 GB M.2 SSD. Trying to figure out how to get Astroberry directly on it from Windows. I'd need to get an adapter or install Raspian on the Pi 4 and then burn a copy directly to the M.2 SSD from within Raspian.

Can you share what modification you did to the boot partition to make it boot from the SSD?

I have a Raspberry Pi 3, is there an advantage in using a Pi 4 (4 or 8 mb) with Astroberry versus using a Pi 3 ? Sorry for the noob question.

Thanks Spartacus.....Everything seems to be working fine with the hand controller in the middle....I do have an EQDIR adapter somewhere around here. I just wanted to confirm that using the USB/Serial adapter alone would work without an EQDIR in the middle. I don't want to fry anything. Thanks.

Ok I'm testing as I type and it seems to be working fine with the hand controller in between. I will next test it with Skycharts. Thanks. But can you still answer my question regarding using only the Aten adapter in my previous post.

Thanks but going back to your original suggestion. Just using the Aten USB/serial adapter, do I even need an EQDIR adapter in between the mount & laptop/RPI or will it work with just the Aten USB/Serial adapter alone? My setup with the hand controller works fine with Win7/Ascom. Also don't I need to install the Aten drivers? I did notice that the yellow LED on the Aten adapter doesn't light up but it did with my Win7/Ascom setup once I installed the drivers.

But don't I need an EQDir adapter to connect it that way?

Hi guys. I'm trying to connect my Atlas EQ-G mount and seem to be having trouble connecting. I keep getting: [ERROR] Serial read error. Timeout error. I'm sure it's something dumb that I'm not doing correctly. I'm using an Aten UC232A USB to Serial adapter. That is connected to the RS-232 port on my hand controller. Can someone walk me through the proper settings on EKOS. I did set up a Mount Test profile in the Indi manager using the Synscan driver and started the server. I get the same error when I tried Skychart.
