I'm sorry, I totally realized that I never included the error message. When trying to connect the camera I receive an error that states: 'No QHY cameras detected. Power on?'

Hi everyone,

I'm quite new to indi, but recently decided to replace my old windows laptop (which has run my setup for nearly 10 years) with my macbook running OS X. I downloaded and installed kstars and haven't had any trouble connecting to my mount or Canon DSLR, but I'm now trying to get my starshoot autoguider up and running and have put quite a bit of time into trying to debug what is going on.

The camera works just fine with PHD2 when run outside of ekos, but I would prefer to get everything working through ekos if possible. I have noticed that upon connecting the starshoot, mac identifies the camera as (obtained through the system report):

Vendor-Specific Device:

Product ID: 0x0011
Vendor ID: 0x1856
Version: 0.00
Speed: Up to 480 Mb/sec
Location ID: 0x14310000 / 46
Current Available (mA): 500
Extra Operating Current (mA): 0

Once I run PHD2 it updates as:

StarShoot Autoguider:

Product ID: 0x0012
Vendor ID: 0x1856
Version: 0.00
Speed: Up to 480 Mb/sec
Manufacturer: 0rion
Location ID: 0x14310000 / 48
Current Available (mA): 500
Current Required (mA): 350
Extra Operating Current (mA): 0

Is there something that I need to do to make ekos recognize the camera? Maybe update the PID or VID? I installed kstars for the first time on this mac last night so I believe the drivers should be pretty up to date. Any help debugging would be most appreciated!
