Anything would help: Make it smaller, bottom of page, notification indicator - anything. It takes up half of the screen on EVERY refresh!
Would be great to see a MacOS 3.5.3 too. Rob's latest build script still doesn't work for me.

Now seeing this error trying to build kguiaddons:

I know it's just a nit, but is there a preference setting to remove that sticky "INDI Library v1.8.9 Released" announcement from the top of the page? It's so big that it takes up much of the screen, and it comes back on every refresh - even after clicking the X or marking all announcements as read. Is there a way to mark it read so I don't see it again, or maybe to choose not to see announcements?
Anyone else trying Rob's new build script with the included Qt? I like the idea much better, but it's not compiling for me on 11.2.3 with XCode 12.4. Something in indiserver is failing:

Trying to build latest on 11.2.3 MacBook Air. See this:

Ran an imaging session the other night with latest nightly on SM via VNC. Got through lights and darks, but when it came to flats, I forgot to set a decent delay time between images, and Ekos crashed after about the third image. After a restart and setting about a six second delay, it ran the flats sequence.
Seems if Ekos tries to write the very large files created by the 2600 too quickly (short exposures like bias and flats), it crashes.
Yes, it seems to run fine with Rosetta, but I'm talking about building from code. It fails with many link errors as noted above. I didn't look into script settings or Qt config or any other deep troubleshooting - wanted to know if the consensus thought I should expect it to build on an M1 machine or not? Doesn't look like it.
Any chance the KStars-INDI-Mac-Dev script will build on a new M1 Chip Mac soon? I tried it, but saw a bunch of link errors:
"ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture arm64"
I pulled latest SM nightly build on Thursday and again on Friday (11 & 12 March). Didn't note the version. Was using those via VNC. Also saw same crashes on the 3.5.2 MacOS DMG connecting remotely to SM. Don't have nightlies for local app.
I am still seeing application crashes during imaging runs. Both in the nightly build on the StellarMate device itself as well as the MacOS Stable 3.5.2. Just empirically, it appears to be related to downloading and saving the huge files created by the ASI2600MC. I can get it to crash pretty consistently if I generate a bunch of bias or flat frames without a decent delay between captures. I've also seen crashes during imaging runs (guiding and tracking) on both the SM VNC as well as MacOS remote.
I've seen this kind of crash before - when switching to the summary tab:
