I am having an issue with the ZWO EAF v1 and its range of focus (number of steps).
The EAF can only travel from 0 to 60000 (steps), but the Celestron focuser range is way beyond that. So if you have different image train configurations the EAF will stop before you can get to that focus point.
In steps the Celestron's range is 0 - 180000 steps.
ZWOs response to that when you get to the end of the EAF range then you need to set the EAF step count to 0 and continue on.
The issue with Ekos / INDI is there is no way that I can find to set the step count to 0 using the INDI controls or config.
Does anyone have some ideas?
Thanks

Hi I have Kstars / ekos setup with Celestron CGX equatorial mount connect via the Celestron wifi module.
It seems to connect fine and I am able to control the mount which is great.
The issue seems to be the initial staring position in kstars when it connects to the mount. I have it park in the switch position and Kstars shows the scope right at the horizon, when if I had it connected to hand controller it would show at just off Polaris for me (52.50 latitude).
Is there any suggestions?
Thanks

May I ask what you mean "initialed" download and install or just deleted configuration? What libraries are you referring to? I am on Stellarmate 1.5.5.
Thanks

With reguards to the "Error I see ./jre/bin/java: symbol lookup error: /home/pi/Desktop/Fire Capture/Ephemerides.so: undefined symbol: _ZN5Vec3DC1Ev" I did try the resolution to rename or delete the Ephemmerides.so library and that did seem to resolve the issue.
My question is what is that library used for and is it needed?
Thanks
