Hi, before I realised you could transfer the GPS location from your Ipad to SM, I bought a GPS receiver. I have not managed to get this work, Not sure if its the device or SM, followed instructions, but no joy. Now I want to go back to using the SM app to sync the GPS data for SM. I'm not sure what the settings should be in Ekos and Kstars to do that, as there doesn't seem to be an option for that. its only Kstars, mount or GPS device.

Hi,
I have created a new profile and saved my telescopes there, now when I go to the options tab in EQMOD mount and check there no figures are mentioned, they are all set to zero. Will the indi control panels settings be used even if these fields are at zero ? Also when I the Mount tab of EKOS and look at my mounts there and the profile name, when I try to create a new config and save it I get an error message saying 'error syncing telescope info'

Hi, thank you for your quick response, what module is the equipment profile. I am very confused about the number of places you can enter the same information and what one is enforced. Is it possible to show me a screenshot so I can identify it? Is all of this handled better in SM, I am just waiting on my Pi4 to arrive then I will upgrade to SM, I'm just using Astroberry to setup my rig as new parts arrive, I haven't even tried to take the rig outdoors.

Hi,
I set up my telescope and guide camera settings in the mount tab, save them to config number 1, when I go to click capture and solve it tells me that I need to update my driver settings and try again. I have restarted several time sand still get the same message, when I check back into the mount tab,. the settings haven't been saved. When I click save telescope info, the log tells me that the config has been overided.
Also in INDI web manager, I have a service started for my Z6 and EQMOD, but no service for the ZWO camera, but the camera seems to work, should there be an icon in there for the ZWO guide camera.

Hi, I am a newbie to this, I have a Nikon Z6 and I'm trying to 'knock-down' each issue before moving on to the next, I think I have solved connecting my Z6 and I now have my mount connected via EQMOD. My next task is focusing, I have setup the Ekos camera tab and I know it's connecting and taking images. In the focusing tab I can click video preview and get an image, when I try and focus, the shutter opens and Kstars Ekos crashes. I have read the

but that doesn't help.
Can anyone help me out here please, there looks to be a lot of settings in both INDI and EKOS that looks like they must all be spot on to work and the permutations are just too great to work on trial and error?

Hi, I am using Astroberry and have managed to setup Ekos and Kstars, it has detected my camera and I can see a video preview, so I know the camera is talking to Raspberry Pi, when I try to take a test image, the shutter fires and then the wheel in Ekos spins, then the software crashes, I suspect it has to do with either the file type or where I'm trying to save it. I have read that on Nikons the images need to saving to the card in the camera ?, so that is what I have tried to set.
